5 Best K-Dramas Of First Half Of 2020- That I Would Recommend

The first half passed by so fast. I will share 5-Best K-Dramas that you must watch and some of them are quite under-rated but deserve all the attention. These 5 are among the dramas that i have watched till now. Here we go.

1. It's Okay To Not Be Okay

The series tells an unusual romance story between two people who end up healing each other's emotional and psychological wounds

Seo Ye Ji's role was superb, she shined throughout the drama. She is phenomenal as Moon Young. I cannot think of anyone who can do this role as perfect as her. And her outfits were so beautiful
So the female lead is a fairytale story writer, the show uses a "fairytale story telling" method to bring out some principles of life, which I find it very special!  The cinematography of this show is WOW. just WOW! the camera shots are so perfect. i loved the special illusion effects they created. It was so good. Same as the editing. I love the transitions from one scene to another.

I really love the story. It's unique and refreshing how the writer used many fairy tale and folk tales references and combined all those stories into one. It's so brilliant. The show stayed strong and mantained high quality from beginning to the end. The trouble maker trio took all the limelight, their character developments and how they were healed in the process of knowing each other most satisfying endings I've ever watched,i wanted more explanation how the mother survived or what really happened.?

Another reason this drama intrigued me was the chemistry between Soo Hyun and Ye Ji. I've honestly never seen chemistry more explosive, more beautiful, more visually-appealing, more REAL than these two. The acting is all-around top notch! The story is intriguing and engaging! I loved how this is a drama with a mystery in its background. Definately watch it!

2. The world of the married

Ji Sun Woo is an established doctor who seems to lead a perfect life. She has a supportive husband, a well-behaved son, a great job, and a beautiful house. Yet it all starts to fall apart once she learns about her husband's affair. She feels betrayed and alone in her battle against her husband, his mistress, and society that supports maintaining the beautiful facade while hiding the ugly truth.

It's a superb and great story of adultery, it's realistic not usual adultery drama, Each episode is filled with the perfect amount of suspense and intrigue to keep you wondering what happens next .This is so true of “married life--life after divorce  “ in regard to love, lust, obsession, adultery, divorce, re-marriage, abusive relationships, family, friends e.t.c and the pain and heartache we cause just by certain selfish decisions we make and the causal effects of it. How it would affect your life especially if you and your partner had child from their marriage. Not one second of this drama was boring, it was an epic roller-coaster ride of a drama with high emotions flaring all the time,it kept me on the edge of my seat.
Brilliantly written drama and a stellar cast. All the relationship couples were interesting to watch. It brought up questions of whether you can forgive adultery even though you love someone so much. Can you get past it?

Ji Sun Woo -- a powerful, strong lady who was ready to destroy everyone who's trying to hurt her. And while she was a character that was easy to root for, some of her actions were very questionable. But well, that's what made the drama even more impactful. None of the characters in this show are likable. The moment you start warming up to someone, they'll do something to screw you over. The actors are doing a fantastic job. I had a hard time calling them "actors" because they seem to be real people. They are living their roles. It's totally insane! From beginning to end, the show never lost its intensity. The music is amazing and added in just at the right moments.

3. Nobody Knows

Go Eun-ho (played by Ahn Ji-Ho) is a schoolboy who jumps off a building and falls into a coma- everyone assumes its attempted suicide- but his friend and neighbour, Cha Yeong-Jin (played by Kim Seo-Hyung), who is haunted by the murder of her friend that occurred 19 years earlier, suspects that there's something suspicious going on with the young boy's attempt, so she starts investigating herself.

If you like crime, school or thriller, this is a must-watch. There are side characters you'll fall in love with and the plot is sensational. A lot of good values shown in the midst of the bad things happening around the characters. This drama shows us what a beautiful relationship looks like, and the feelings of kindness and trust. How caring for each other and kindness is always the right choice, its heartwarming and i love everything about it. It has no unnecessary romance and lovey dovey dialogues but will keep you hooked up till the end.

Go Eun Ho was just SUNSHINE! and the glue that stuck this drama together, the "core" of this drama.Cha Youngjin! What a strong woman! She's the strongest and GREATEST person ever. Youngjin's and Eunho's friendship is THE SWEETEST, and the BESTTHING in the drama! Their friendship is so pure and lovely and so utterly genuine... They really made each other stronger and helped each other heal and grow! Also the detective team were awesome and more believable then any thriller drama i have watched. This drama deserves more attention!

 4. The Cursed

The Cursed is about a teenage girl who has the ability to bring death by using names, photos and belongings, and a just social issues reporter, fighting against the massive evil hidden behind an IT conglomerate.
I loved this drama so much, For me this was the best horror, thriller this year. They had a great plot, great characters, great acting and a really really great ost, the cinematography and the vibes/color scheme of this drama was so fitting and so pretty, it set the right mood, it was kinda dark and cold, I really liked it.
Also this drama gave me a lot of knowledge about Japanese Yokais which includes Inugami too. I have been doing a lot of research on inugami lately and let me tell u that inugami are real and whatever was told in the drama, the basis were actually true. I was so surprised that this is all true..possession,inugami according to japanese history, Blown Away!!

Story wise.. its really good as the story flows really smoothly, I was on the edge of my seat in every episode. For me.. the best episode is when So Jin did the cursing to the shaman jin kyung. that feels really satisfying.
And last but not least, Sung Dong II, what a talent, he embodied the evil spirit to perfection. All in all, a great job with the writing, directing, casting, acting, and producing of this drama. Well written cliffhanger, their is a second season and a movie coming. Their is a reason for that. Leave everything and watch it!

 5. Tell Me What You Saw

Oh Hyun-jae (Jang Hyuk) was a genius profiler who cracked many cold cases using his unsurpassed profiling skills. One day, his fiancée was killed in an explosion set by a serial killer and Hyun-jae lived in seclusion after that. Five years later, a new murder takes place using the same method as that serial killer. While investigating the case, team leader Hwang Ha-young (Jin Seo-yeon) meets a detective from the countryside, Cha Soo-young (Choi Soo-young), who has a photographic memory. She introduced Soo-young to Hyun-jae and they work together to go after the serial killer.
This drama is not the best at its game. But it is still enjoyable. The main character is not weaker or more stupid than the main villain. I like when main character has ability same or more than villain so they can duel each other and not being played. Its better when both of them are mastermind who have plan with another plan and backup plan. The drama was full of kickass women, amazing cinematography angle. The suspense around the murderer was real good.

Do let me know your views too. If you like it do share it with others!
